Nelson Local News: Lancashire Fire Stations open for drop ins and free fire alarms this weekend

Lancashire Fire Service have had a nasty spike in the number of rescues they have had to make to domestic house fires.

Due to this spike in fires they need to attend they are also opening all of the fire stations in Lancashire on Saturday the 21st January between 11am and 5pm to enable people to 'drop-in' and collect a free smoke alarm and fire safety advice booklet or they can book a Home Fire Safety Check if they would like the fire service to come and fit the alarm and assist them in making a evacuation plan and offer any more detailed advice.
